Dr. Franklin was amazing. The other reviews have it spot on! Additionally, her front office staff was very pleasant and personable. Her nurse was also great at her job and had a dry sense of humor.
Dr. Franklin was patient with me during the visit and explained everything she was doing as she walked through exam. Great bedside manner.
She also recommended a purchase from Amazon, since if I bought it at her office, it would have been more expensive. Further, she was worried about my BP and scheduled blood tests for me to come back, since she wanted to follow up on my well-being.
Great experience! Wish all offices and doctors were this facilitating!

She graduated from University of Maryland School of Medicine in 1992 and completed her residency program at Harbor Hospital in Baltimore Maryland. She is married with three children, two of whom have special needs. Her special interests include managing high risk pregnancies, adolescent gynecology, minimally invasive procedures such as laparoscopic hysterectomies, Novasure alblations and advanced hysteroscopy. She also is interested in managing recurrent vaginal infections, pelvic pain and care related

I will never go back to her again. Waited for 1 HR and 30 minutes. It was my first and LAST time seeing her. She was extremely short with me and impersonal, didn't ask any questions or even SPEAK when she entered the room. After waiting for so long I felt extremely unimportant and she spent a total of 3 minutes with me when she finally came in. Never even made eye contact and left abruptly with no information. I had to ask the receptionist about when I'd actually get any results back, etc. VERY unprofessional. This experience was extremely worse than the actual reason for my visit.

I did not like her whatsoever! It was my first time visiting her and she walks in the room and does not even introduce herself! She did not explain anything to me (had pap done) and she just plopped down in her chair and asked me to "open my legs." I'm a nurse and I work in private practice so I know all about bedside manner and how this works.
I love DrJones and her staff, but I refuse to visit with her again or be recommending Dr Franklin to anyone I know.

She was awful. I went there for the very first time because I was having complications and left in tears. Sherri (I refuse to call her Dr!) had horrible bedside manner, was very dismissive, was in the room with me for a total of 2 minutes, and left me with more questions than answers. The receptionist helped me when I was checking out more than that lady did when she saw me. I told them that I will NEVER going to see her again. I don't have high hopes but I'm willing to give someone else a chance there.

Dr. Franklin was professional and friendly and my exam was quick. Most of the wait time was due to some paper work and the nurse taking vitals. The staff was pleasant. Overall, it was a good experience.

Dr. Sherri Franklin was very rude and uninviting. When she entered to administer my yearly check up, she did not greet me and was not welcoming at all. I will never go back there or to that practice again. Save your time and money by searching for a better doctor.

I took the very early first appointment. Waited about 40 minutes till nurse will call me. The nurse was excellent and explained clearly what to do and it took about 5 minutes. She led me to the room, where I should wait for doctor (I was for first time). I changed my clothes and waited about 10 minutes. After when i started to frizz I opened door and tried to find somebody and ask if my doctor will come to my room to make yearly check up. I found just one lady spoken on the telephone in the office and I thought that it's office manager. The lady told me that she is coming shortly - so:( I understood, that it was my doctor. She came, professionally did, what she needed to do. For the first time she didn't ask any questions (just if I did mammogram). I received my prescription - this mostly was my goal, but I didn't like the attitude and wait time (especially for the very first appointment).

I was a new patient to Dr. Franklin; she was willing to see me on the spot when my regular gynecologist was not available. She gave me excellent suggestions on improving my physical health. Her time with me was very brief; I would have preferred that our conversation last longer.

I have seen all this doctor twice when my normal gyn was hard to get an appointment with, and both times were less than satisfactory. I have been a patient at the office for 6 years now, and Dr. Franklin leaves much to be desired. She is very short and curt, and really seems like her patients are a burden. She also appears as though she really just does not want to be there. It is very evident in her demeanor. I liked the practice before, however, I may switch to somewhere else if I continue to have a hard time seeing my regular gyn in that practice.

I think I have been enlightened as to the reasons why pap smears are performed - in addition that Dr. Franklin was one of the rarest doctors willing to be open-minded to encompass/consider other procedures to be performed on the patient while she would be under sedation....we are getting somewhere - instead of restricting herself to her corner to specialty!

It was my first time going to an obgyn and it was incredibly awkward for me. Dr. Franklin was quick and very friendly I almost forgot where I was... almost.

I recommend Dr. Franklin's office. When I arrived, the receptionist noted that she didn't have an appointment scheduled for me (she explained that there had been a glitch in the computers and they hadn't been receiving ZocDoc appointments correctly).
However, they were determined to get me in to the doctor that day and try not to re-schedule (which I thought was very generous of them). Dr. Franklin came out and took me back right away in order to accommodate everyone's schedules--before I had filled out the paperwork or anything-- a "reversal" as she called it (I filled out the paperwork and saw the nurse after my consultation). She had a very professional and friendly demeanor.
I also really enjoyed the nurse, Lori. She also had a great bedside manner and had me laughing. The office was prompt filling out my prescription and the nurse even called me later in the day to confirm that my prescription had been filled and give me a few pointers.
All in all, a great experience.

Dr. Franklin was great! My only feedback is the front office staff would be well served to mirror the doctor and nurses energy and professionalism by a warm greeting when patients arrive or at least eye contact and a smile while we wait to check in. Other than the receptionists, everyone else was great!!

Dr. Franklin was fine. Professional, thorough and fast. The nursing staff was great...friendly enough to make up for any brusqueness I might have felt from the doc. BUT the lady behind the counter checking patients out was so rude! She took my money and sent me on my way. When I asked if I needed an appt to come back for blood work she said, "I don't know, do you???" Inconsistent with the personality of the office but seemed like it was SOP because everyone ignored her. Odd.
