A Virginia native, Dr. Sherry P. Taylor spent her childhood and high school years in Virginia Beach. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Carson-Newman College in Tennessee and received her Masters Degree in Reproductive Biology from Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Taylor earned her Medical Degree from Eastern Virginia/Medical College of Hampton Roads and performed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Medical College of Georgia. She is a Board Certified OB-GYN and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
She is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Northside Atlanta-Forsyth and Cherokee as well as staffed at two outpatient surgery centers North Cresent Surgery Center and Atlanta Outpatient Surgery Center. She is very well renown specializing in women’s health including reproductive health, pregnancy, childbirth, menopausal issues including hormone therapy and biomedical hormone therapy and most recently in anti-aging and vaginal rejuvenation therapy as well as body contouring.
Dr. Taylor has been in practice for over 20 years and recently began her newest independently owned and operating practice, Alpha Omega OBGYN, and Alpha Omega MedSpa. Dr. Taylor enjoys traveling and has a passion for competitive ballroom dancing specifically American Rhythm dance and has most recently competed and won four gold medals in Cuba. She was awarded the 2019 Top Doctor OB-GYN of Atlanta Georgia. She resides in the North Fulton area with her daughter, who is soon to graduate from Auburn University.
