She completed her fellowship in Pain Management & Anesthesiology at Western Pennsylvania Hospital in Pittsburgh and her residency in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System in Richmond.
A physical medicine and rehabilitation approach to acute and chronic pain includes a wide range of assessment and treatment options. Assessment may include a focused joint and functional examination including more global areas of impairment (ie, gait, balance, and endurance) and disability. The primary treatment goals are reducing pain, improving mood and enhancing physical function ultimately leads to helping you to control the pain instead of the pain controlling you.
At this time Dr. Sahai is only accepting patients that are paying with insurance.
