Been a patient with Dr Patel the past two years. Had issues with her front desk coding the testing to my insurance using the wrong code. Finally got it sorted after many hours spent. Had an issue again recently and the admin told me I shouldn't come to the office anymore because she didn't want to deal with my insurance. She also said the same during COVID that she didn't want me to do any testing with their office because they didn't want to deal with insurance since the COVID testing was new, and she wasn't sure what the billing codes were. I contacted my insurance to ask what the lab codes for COVID were but they wouldn't give it to me saying it was the doctors responsibility to know and they have the resources to find it. However, the admin at the doctors office didn't know and wasn't willing to figure it out as part of her job.

Pros: Dr was attentive and professional and consultative. Seems like a good GP, will likely continue to use. Staff was friendly and responsive.
Cons: Office was mostly empty but after vitals were taken I waited for about an hour in exam room before I saw the Dr. I understand modern America medicine just IS this way, but I remember when it wasn’t.

The receptionist was very nice. The doctor wasn’t much of a talker. Maybe she was busy that day I don’t know but she asked her questions, did her assessment & left out quickly. I’m sure she had her reasons

Went in for annual physical and it was very basic and the Dr. was in and out. I have had other physicals where doctor will do several exams like EKG’s for heart rhythm and such. She was direct and short - not my style of doctor but maybe others appreciate this personality.

Dr. Patel did a great job explaining the treatment plan, my options, and the reasons behind each of those. The nursing staff was also friendly, helpful, and did a great, painless job when I had to have my blood drawn.

Everything was great! Dr. Patel and her staff were very nice and attentive. The only thing that was subpar was the waiting time. I was the only patient in the office at that time I’m pretty sure and I waited for quite a long time, probably 30-40 min. Also the parking for their facility was terrible, there were no spots available except reserved spots. I ended up parking in a place I definitely could’ve been towed from. Luckily I didn’t.
