Since childhood, Simmi Dhaliwal, MD, FACOG, was drawn to medicine by her interest in science and her passion for helping others. She is proud to work with women as an Obstetrician / Gynecologist, and to provide her patients the care they need from a woman’s perspective. Dr. Dhaliwal is the former chairperson of OB/GYN at Pomona Valley Hospital, where she was one of the first surgeons to perform a ‘da Vinci’ robotic hysterectomy at the facility.
Outside of the office, Dr. Dhaliwal enjoys many hobbies afforded by Southern California, including swimming and exploring the area’s mountains and beaches. She and her husband are the devoted parents of three children - twin daughters and a son - all of whom were born on the same day, just a year apart. She looks forward to meeting you!

The staff were all very knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Dhaliwal was very upbeat and friendly. She explained everything as she went through the procedure. She is a very calming force. I would return to be treated by her and the office staff again.

Perhaps it's just me, but I felt that I was rushed by the doctor. She came in, greeted me, gave me the diagnoses and then proceeded to head out. When I asked questions, her responses were very quick and dry.

They seemed to get patients in and out pretty fast. Mine took longer because I was a new patient who booked online and the site doesn't let you know that the ladies who confirm the insurance go to lunch from 1-2pm.

I was hesitant at first after reading a lot of really bad reviews but I must say this doctor was very friendly and professional. She took her time with me and explained everything very well. My only complaint is that she doesn't accept covered california insurance so I had to be a cash patient.

This Drs office does not regularly use the online appts system. I booked and had a confirmed appt but when I got there they had no record of it. The wait ended up being over 2 hours. The office does not have good communication with each other.
The nurses were great. Helpful and courteous.
The Dr was a bit cold and only saw me for 5 minutes. Smile and be more personable. She did not ask me anything really and didn't seem interested in answering my questions or hearing what I had to say. I will not be returning to this office.

I liked the fact that she was quick and painless during my papsmear. I was in and out of her office withon an hour of my appointment. Most doctor's I've encountered your normally waiting an hour before you are seen even with an appointment. Staff was efficient and got straight to the point, to which I prefer.

Simmi is great. Very nice. She knew what was wrong, great ob/gyn.
The wait time on the other hand was a little bit long. And the people in the waiting room were a bit undesirable, but the doctors visit was good aside from that.

I do love Dr. Dhaliwal and the only reason why I had to give her the three stars for the wait time is because she had to deliver a baby first. Otherwise, the Dr. is usually less than 30 minutes, which is great!
