Going to the doctor is usually a stressful situation but Dr. Whitmore has the ability to make you laugh and put you at ease. She does not use terminology that only a doctor would understand, but rather speaks to you like a friend. I would highly recommend her services!

Dr. Simone Whitmore started her solo practice in 2004. She received her medical degree from East Tennessee State University, Quillen College of Medicine in 1993. Dr. Whitmore completed her residency at the prestigious Boston Medical Center in 1997. She practiced in Memphis, TN, before coming to the Atlanta area in 1999. Dr. Whitmore is board certified in obstetrics and gynecology by A.B.O.G. She has been an admitting physician at Northside Hospital since 1999.
We offer comprehensive obstetrical care, including pre-pregnancy counseling, routine and high-risk prenatal care, and postpartum care. We also offer comprehensive gynecological services, including adolescent gynecology, contraceptive management, evaluation and treatment of primary infertility, laparoscopic surgery and various menopausal treatments.
When you choose North Perimeter OB/GYN to serve your healthcare needs, we will do our best to ensure your comfort during your visit.
