Dr. Sina J. Sabet is certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is a fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American College of Surgeons, and a member of the American Association of Ophthalmic Oncologist and Pathologist.
Dr. Sabet attended the University of Michigan for undergraduate and medical school. He completed his internship at Henry Ford Hospital
in Detroit in 1994, and his Ophthalmology residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin. At the University of Wisconsin and Clinics, Dr. Sabet completed fellowships in ophthalmic pathology, uveitis and ocular inflammatory disease.
Dr. Sabet has been in a private practice in Virginia for over ten years and he has been serving the Alexandria area for eight years. He has also been an assistant professor in the department of ophthalmology and pathology at Georgetown University since 2006. He practices comprehensive ophthalmology and eye surgery, and specializes in cataracts surgery and glaucoma care. His loyal patients appreciate his genuine concern and his compassionate nature. The doctor was nice and friendly. But be ready to sit in the lobby for an hour before the doctor can see you. There were about 5 patients in the lobby with me and it took 55 minutes before they finally called me in. I was very disappointed. When I was leaving, lobby was empty. Not even one patient waiting there. They have no system in scheduling patients and that why I do not recommend this office if you respect your time because they don't.

If you have all day to waste go for it , receptionists are rude they tend to ignore you and keep doing what they are doing knowing you are waiting for them to say something or ask something.... this happend twice and i will not go here again ! I filled my papers online and when i got there they said fill them out again they never recieved them !!

The Dr. was great, but the staff were very rude, I was given new contact prescriptions, a trial was supposed to be given to me by the contact lens office within this office, the staff were very rude and did not want to give me a trial for new prescription. Will not go here again because of the staff

Dr. Sabet is a wonderful doctor and really cares about his patients. He did my Lasik about 9 years ago, and I'm still seeing 20/20. His staff is very friendly as well.

Overall it was a nice experience and I would go back again. The only thing was the reseption lady got irritated very quick when I said I don't know what kind of vision plan I have. I thought it was only towards me until I realized she treated pretty much everyone the same way. She specially doesn't have patience with older patients.

Dr. Sabet was great, diagnosed the problem quickly and was very helpful! The wait was really long but it was late afternoon so I expected as much. Considering I was able to get a same- day appt for an eye issue, I expected to have a wait. Highly recommend the doctor!

There was only a short wait time between my arrival and my initial checkups with the assistants, which was nice; however, I waited for 45 minutes after those exams until Dr. Sabet came in. That said, he has a great bedside banner and made me feel at ease with my first post-LASEK checkup in the United States.

I liked Dr Sabet, and I highly recommend him. The waiting time was long just because when i arrived for my appointment, they didn't have an appointment for me! Zocdoc failed to put the appointment on their schedule! So they had to squeeze me in when they could.

I felt comfortable with his professional manner. My only gripe is the waiting time. It took almost 50 minutes before I was attended. The front desk assistants are OK, but the could learn to be a little more pleasant in their attention with the customers.

Visit went fairly well. Only thing that was disappointing was the wait time. I had to wait in the lobby for about 45 minutes (beyond my appointment time). The Dr. was wonderful. Walked me through the process. I left confident knowing he could do the procedure. 1 thing to note: The office only does surgery on Tuesdays.

My visit turned out to be more crucial than I expected. The doctor found that I needed emergency eye surgery right away. I was scheduled for surgery about 3 hours later. Doctor Sabet took the time to explain the procedure and the reason why it was needed. He was very thorough and worked with me when I became stressed out by the laser.

Dr. Sabet was very professional, and I do like his bedside manner. However, the office operations left something to be desired. Arrived 15min before with appt and then had to wait for 1 hr before being inprocessed by a tech. Then I sat for another hour before I saw the doctor. Good doctor, but operations were awful.
