Owing to a dearth of geriatric physicians in the United States and an aging population, Dr. Kola opted to focus on aging seniors with complex medical issues after practicing internal medicine for a year. Also, In 2017, Dr. Kola completed fellowship in geriatrics at Rush-Presbyterian St. Lukes Medical Center in Chicago. Dr. Kola also believes that most of the hospitalizations are the consequences of a lack of affordable, compassionate, comprehensive primary care. She is passionate about providing the best possible care by connecting with each one of her patients.
Dr. Kola was born and raised in India, she graduated from Kasturba Medical College. She moved to the United States in 2010 after completing medical school in India. Outside of her practice, she spends her with her family, friends, doing yoga and playing “Veena”.
