She completed her internship and residency in internal medicine at Georgia Regents University, where she was awarded ‘Resident of the Year’. She then finished her fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes and metabolism at the same institution. She also holds an associate’s degree from Miami Dade College.

Dr. Sol Guerrero took time to explain to me in detail my test results and in comparison with the previous results for the whole thing to make sense. Then she summed everything up and made sure I didn't have questions before we parted. She was pleasant and she didn't make me feel rushed at all. She even thanked me a the end. She and her staff showed me respect, importance, sensitivity, and smiles. Truly professional and efficient. The office is clean and bright. It was a pleasure to visit the office and worth my long drive. .
