Sophia Y. Siu, MD, is a comprehensive and cornea ophthalmologist and surgeon in the New York region. After completing her undergraduate studies at Pennsylvania State University, she was a Cum Laude graduate of Jefferson Medical College in Philadelphia. Dr. Siu went on to her Internship at Lankenau Medical Center, followed by Ophthalmology Residency at Temple University Hospital. Dr. Siu then completed a Cornea and External Disease Fellowship at the prestigious Wills Eye Hospital in Philadelphia. Dr. Siu currently has staff privileges at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. She has published in academic journals and has presented at national conferences.
Dr. Siu is a board certified ophthalmologist and specializes in all forms of corneal transplantation. She also performs cataract surgery and minimally invasive glaucoma surgery. As a cornea specialist, Dr. Siu also treats infectious and ocular surface disease.
