Dr. Sreenivasa Murthy received his medical degree from the Bangalore Medical College of Bangalore University, India. He worked as general and orthopedic surgeon in the National Health Service Hospitals in the United Kingdom for 14 years. Dr. Murthy came to the U.S. in the early 1990's and completed a residency in family medicine, where he served as Chief Resident at the Western Reserve Care System in Youngstown, OH. He is board certified in family medicine and a member of the American Association of Family Physicians and the American Medical Association. Dr. Murthy is a Clinical Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. Prior to joining Mid-Michgan Physicians, Dr. Murthy served as staff physician at Blue Care Network of Michigan.
