I like Dr. Surapaneni. I like how he speaks with you and explains your care and issues. What I do not like is it is hard to get to talk with any of his staff when you call. They always state they will call you back within 24 hrs but seldom do. My appointment was for 2 pm but did not see the doctor until 3:45 with no explanation as to the delay from his staff. I understand medical emergencies but to wait in the waiting room for nearly and hour then to be put in an exam room for 50 additional minutes with no explanation is unacceptable.

Sri Naveen Surapaneni is a concerned and attentive gastroenterologist serving the community of Pearland, Houston, and Webster, TX. Dr. Surapaneni attended Armed Forces Medical College, where he received his medical degree, and completed his residency in internal medicine and fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. He also completed a fellowship in advanced therapeutic endoscopy at the University of Texas Health Science Center.
Dr. Surapaneni is a part of Bay Area Gastroenterology and is affiliated with Memorial Hermann Southeast Hospital in Houston. He is board certified in gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine and is a member of the American Society for Gastrointestinal Endoscopy, American Medical Association, and the Texas Medical Association. As always, Dr. Surapaneni was very professional and caring. He asks questions, gives his opinion and is not afraid to hear opinions from family members. We thoroughly enjoy having him as my son's doctor. We are very pleased that we switched to him. I would recommend him to anyone.

The only reason the wait time was so long is because I didn't fill out the paper work till I got there. Had I printed out the forms that were emailed to me and had it done prior to me showing up at the office I would have been seen immediately.

Dr. Surapaneni was nice and professional with a confident attitude. I arrived 30 minutes before my appt. time and after finishing the paperwork, waited over an hour before being called to the back. Never received any updates or apology for being left to wait so long. I had also tried returning a call earlier that morning from the office regarding an insurance question and after going through numerous prompts finally spoke to a person who was abrasive and abrupt in her demeanor. The staff in general were polite but not particularly warm or comforting, they just seemed to be there "doing the job". I would hope those working in the medical profession could display more empathy and welcoming attitude to their patients. Also a little difficult finding the office, the signage on the door was only a sheet of paper taped that had their name, no obvious indication that a professional office existed behind the plain door.

The wait was long. The doctor spent less than five minutes with me. He wouldn't let me get a word in to ask questions. He did not address my concerns. I would never recommend him. The whole experience was very irritating and unsatisfactory.

our apt was 8am told to be there at 750 and was also told we would be talking to the dr today for the results. NO ONE was there at the office till 815am..... did not go back for ultrasound till 830ish..... I called last week 4 times and left msgs for a BOBBI to call me back I had questions, she NEVER called back. Now I have to take another day off of work to come back to hear the results.
Not a good way to run an office.

Dr. Sri Naveen Surapaneni is probably a good doctor, however, because of the waiting time in his office, I would not recommend anyone to go there unless you have all the time in the world and nothing else to do. My appointment was at 10:30 AM, I arrived at 10:20 AM and was only seen by the doctor at 12:30 PM. My consultation with the doctor was less than 10 minutes and more waiting time for receiving my paper works from the nurse. I checked out of the office ~ 1:15 PM. Not OK!

VERY COMFORTABLE AND I KNEW I HAD MADE A WISE CHOICE IN CHOOSING HIM FOR MY MEDICAL PROBLEMS.
