Dr. Stacy (Perreault) Pirruccello joined the Maple Grove Eye Doctors team in April 2021. She grew up in Grand Rapids, MN, and graduated from the University of North Dakota. Dr. Pirruccello earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Optometry and decided to move back to Minnesota to be closer to her family.
Her husband, Salvatore, whom she married in June 2022, is currently in school to become a veterinary technician and will graduate in December 2022. They have three cats, two dogs, and a few fish tanks, and Dr. Pirruccello says she wouldn’t be surprised if that list continues to grow as Salvatore starts his career.
Her hobbies include hiking with their dogs, gardening, and spending time at the lake visiting her parents, where they enjoy boating, fishing, and swimming. Dr. Pirruccello and Salvatore currently live in Saint Louis Park, MN.
In her own words, Dr. Pirruccello’s favorite part of being an optometrist is “taking care of my patients and seeing them year to year. It’s like seeing an old friend and being able to catch up on each other’s lives. I wanted to join the Maple Grove Eye Doctors team because of the Hawley Family’s involvement in the community. My brother and I went to the same eye doctor every year growing up, and I always enjoyed the process of getting new glasses and contact lenses. I want to provide that same care for my patients and their families.”
