I am a board certified psychiatrist and completed my training at the University of Maryland at Baltimore. My patients may be seeking psychiatric help for the first time, others have tried a number of medications and have struggled to find the level of help they were seeking. With each patient I work carefully to evaluate which medication will be effective. As my patient your ongoing treatment will include consultation with you about the effects of any medication to ensure you get the maximum benefit to improve your quality of life. I can be reached by phone and email as needed.
I enjoy treating diverse mental health issues in different cultures, genders and ages. I have been in practice for 15 years and have experience in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD ,eating disorders, mood disorders and gender identity disorders. I believe in the mind body connection and treating the whole person.
As my patient you will find that I will discuss and consider your overall physical and emotional health. I will consult with any other mental health providers or physicians you are currently working with, and offer referrals to other area professionals as necessary.

Dr. Woods is a wonderful professional. She assessed me on my first visit & decided on a plan of treatment. She would check-in regularly and assess me at every session to tailor my treatment plan. I was in a very difficult time when I first met Dr. Woods & have been steadily improving. Highly recommend.
