Dr. Pecher earned her medical degree from Charles University, 1st Medical Faculty, in Prague, Czech Republic. Following her second year of urology residency at Charles University, she relocated to the United States and completed a research fellowship in prostate cancer at the University of Pittsburgh. She then went on to complete her training as chief resident and attending with the Bryn Mawr Family Practice Residency Program of Bryn Mawr Hospital in Pennsylvania.
Dr. Pecher relocated as a practitioner to North Stonington in 2008. She became quickly recognized for her patient-focused philosophy. In December of 2011 Dr. Stefana Pecher, LLC was formed and the office relocated to Holly Green Plaza at 391 Norwich-Westerly Rd., 2nd Floor of the Main Building.
