Dr. Becker received her medical degree from the Boston University School of Medicine, and completed her residency at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, where she served as chief resident.
As a practicing ophthalmologist, Dr. Becker was a recipient of the AMA Physicians Recognition Award. I've been seeing eye doctors regularly (once-a-year checkups) since I was a year old, and in all this time I've only had 3 doctors. Dr. Becker is my current eye doctor and while the other 2 were very good, Dr. Becker is my favorite. Very professional and personable, she surrounds herself with top notch assistants which lets her patients know their eyeballs are in good hands. Figuratively, that is.

I arrived at my appointment promptly at 9 a.m. After waiting for over an hour and not being called i asked the receptionist how much longer my wait would be. I was told there were 3 people ahead of me. At that point I left. Very unprofessional to keep patients waiting for so long.

Highly Recommend! I went for an annual checkup with my 2 kids. She took great care of us and spent time with us to answer all of our questions. We were seen at our appointment time and everyone in the office was friendly and very attentive. We look forward to seeing them again next year.

She was super friendly, jovial and explained my issue in perfectly understandable language. It's a large, very professional office. She was busy. I overheard a rude older lady complaining that she needed to be seen because someone was outside waiting for her for over an hour. Although it took about an hour before I saw Dr. Becker, much of the time I was filling out paper work and getting general exams done since it was my first time in the office. I'm satisfied with the service I received in her office. Any other issues with these two eyes, I'm heading back to her. :-)

I can not not not NOT! recommend this office enough. Everything about it was AWESOME. The office was very aesthetically pleasing (as an eye doctor's office should be!) Desk staff was nice, nurses (is that what they're technically called? idk!) were super-awesome, and Dr. Stephanie is just about the coolest doctor I've ever met! She was super friendly but also very thorough.
