BEWARE THE HOSPITAL FACILITY FEE
Dr. Behringer was very nice but be warned that if you go to see her in person at the Mount Sinai location, you'll be hit with facility fees and surcharges just for stepping foot inside that office and in my experience it was hundreds just to sit there to have a consultation with the doctor and get some blood drawn.

Wait time was more than 30 minutes!
Doctor told me that she will call me after tests are ready. Two weeks after my appointment no one called me. I called the office and I spoke with a very rude person! Still no results!

She was very thorough. She saw me right away and spent a lot of time with me. She was not even opposed to alternative medical treatments that I had been previously doing. Most allopathic doctors are very dismissive. I will try her suggestions for my thyroid problem and I’m hoping for a good outcome !

I came to Dr Behringer for a 2nd opinion. I went to address 1 issue but she walked me through 2 issues I was having according to my labs, hypercalcemia and lactation. She walked me through both and presented ways to address and move forward. She answered all my questions and made me feel comfortable with her diagnosis and suggestions. It's only been 1 visit but I prefer her over my initial dr.

This is a hospital (as opposed to a private practice) so you know how that goes. When I walked in and said I had an appointment, the lady at reception told me to put my name down. There was no indication of when I was going to be seen. It’s like they had no respect for the appointment time whatsoever. On top of that, the office felt like an emergency room. I waited 30 minutes before walking out. Not once did anyone tell me how long I would be waiting for. Absolutely ridiculous. Can’t believe this is the standard of care we have to accept.
