She earned her Bachelor's degree in Food and Nutrition from The University of Alabama and completed an internship in Dietetics at Oakwood University. Stephanie comes from a long line of family members who have battled multiple chronic health conditions, which motivated her to learn how to better improve her health as well as her family's. She was very frustrated by the easily accessible but often incorrect nutrition advice found online, as well as the very general, nonspecific nutrition guidance provided by non-Registered Dietitian practitioners. Stephanie is especially passionate about helping patients learn more about diabetes and weight management but maintains a general interest in all areas of the field of dietetics.
