Stephanie Wang is a kind and engaging internist providing excellent care to her patients in New York City. Dr. Wang is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, and she is bilingual, speaking English and Mandarin Chinese fluently. Dr. Wang is currently teaching third-year medical students how to diagnose and manage gastrointestinal bleeds and diabetic ketoacidosis. She is also a resident physician at the World Trade Center Environmental Health Center, at the Bellevue Hospital Medicine Clinic, and the Gouverneur Community Diagnostic and Treatment Center.
Dr. Wang received her medical education at The New York University School of Medicine, after attending the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She is currently participating in her primary care internal medicine residency at the New York University Langone Medical Center at Bellevue Hospital. During this residency, Dr. Wang is training in clinical epidemiology, women’s health, and psychosocial issues. She is also developing a geriatrics curriculum for acute and long-term care.

Very pleasant, friendly staff, Dr. Was very attentive, friendly. Dr. Wang went above and beyond :-) am very pleased with the attention she gave me. Wait time was a little bit extended because I had to fill paperwork and then she was helping a previous patient.

Dr. S. Wang was very professional and addressed my questions. She is highly recommended although the wait time to see her was a bit lengthy and specific medical issues outside of Internal Medicine may require consulting with a specialist. Overall, recommended.

Dr. Wang was awesome. She took her time to get my history (this was my first visit), answered all of my questions, and explained the "why" of everything. I didn't feel rushed in any way (and I ask a LOT of questions), and she took the time to chat about the research behind new recommendations re: my medical conditions. She was really respectful and relaxed, I never felt talked-down to or lectured (like some other doctors do). Her humble data-based approach to medicine engenders trust and confidence. I will definitely be seeing Dr. Wang in the future as my both my primary care physician and OBGYN.
Her assistant nurse Olga was super friendly, and when she took my blood for a sample, I didn't even get a bruise! (I almost always bruise.) The scheduling/reception staff Jose and Shaniqua were fast, warm, and helpful. Overall, I felt welcome and cared for.

Office itself was very no frills, wait was a little long, but Dr Wang was truly excellent. Made me feel very comfortable and managed to get a feel for my extended medical history in a short time, seemed super knowledgeable about my conditions and situation, and recommended some alternative, less invasive treatment options that I hadn't been offered before.
