Philosophy of Care
Without a doubt my philosophy centers around listening to the parents and addressing their concerns. Whether it's a health or development issue, parents know their child better than anyone and often will be the first to notice something wrong with their child. Therefore, giving the parents an opportunity to present their concerns is of paramount importance. I also strongly believe in practicing evidence-based medicine and that immunizations are life-saving interventions recommended for all children.
Why I Entered Medicine
I come from a family of physicians, so I had been exposed to medicine for a long time. It wasn't until after I graduated college when I decided that medicine would be, for me, the best opportunity to combine public service and lifelong learning. I believe that physicians serve an important public need and wanted to be able to serve my community by helping children stay healthy.
Community & Charity Involvement
Having recently relocated to the Lehigh Valley from Florida, I am still getting to know the area and as such have not delved into any significant charity/community service yet. I try to be active in my church and my kids' school as much as possible.
Personal Interests
I enjoy sports, particularly baseball; reading, particularly non-fiction; and spending time with my family, particularly my wife and my twins.
