Steve uses acupuncture, hypnosis and other complementary treatments to help patients relieve pain, calm and focus their minds, and regulate metabolic processes for better health. Steve also leads the clinic’s Ideal Protein weight loss program.
Steve has been a licensed acupuncturist in Washington State since 2013. He is NCCAOM board certified, and a member of the Washington East Asian Medicine Association. He has been a Certified Hypnotherapist and a member of the National Guild of Hypnotists since 2011. Steve continues training with masters in both disciplines. Steve is also a certified SCENAR therapist & trainer. Prior to working in healthcare, Steve was a licensed engineer for over 30 years. While engineering and health care may seem unrelated, Steve finds that the problem solving approaches used in engineering are often helpful in treating body systems.
Steve enjoys working with the clinic’s Nurse Practitioners, and with other medical providers in the community. Collaborating and examining a problem from several different angles often provides answers that a single viewpoint cannot.
Steve enjoys sailing, building things and traveling with his wife Bonnie. He grew up in eastern Washington, and has 2 grown children.
