I've seen this doctor before for OB pregnancy Care and he's always very thorough and quick and efficient and is easy to speak with. Wait time was easy especially feeling everything out on the app makes everything a lot quicker and also being able to pay any outstanding payments through that app as well

Dr. Farmer is a native Texan, born and raised in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Following graduation from Haltom High School, he attended Texas Tech University. Dr. Farmer proceeded to attend the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where he received his medical degree. He then completed four years of specialty training in Obstetrics- Gynecology at Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. In 1988 he began his private practice in Mid Cities area.
As a Board Certified Obstetrician-Gynecologist, Dr. Farmer is committed to providing state of the art health care in a caring and compassionate manner. His office is dedicated to providing a level of service above and beyond the norm. Dr. Farmer has extended his commitment to care by providing services in weight loss management.
In addition to his professional accomplishments, Dr. Farmer is married to his high school sweetheart and is the proud father of four daughters and one son. His blessings continue to grow with four grandsons and counting. In addition to medicine, Dr. Farmer enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, photography, and spending quality time with his family.

If you’re LGBTQ and don’t want to feel uncomfortable I’d say steer away. I let the doctor know that I was on testosterone in the past to transition and he literally said “why would you want to be a boy, girls have it so much better”. It made me feel really uncomfortable, and I had let them know I was nervous to begin with, so it made the whole situation a lot worse for me.

From the moment I walked in Ashely was an amazing help. Super friendly and very polite. Rosy was amazing. Best conversation and took thorough notes about my and my family's medical history. Rosy was very kind and welcoming. And last but not least Dr. Farmer was knowledgeable, gentle and a warm spirit. Asked all the right questions and gave step by step of what was happening. I do not regret me changing doctors and I'm so glad to have found them.

The office is nice and the staff is great, however Dr. Stephen, both times that I saw him, unbuttoned and unzipped my jeans without asking or informing me beforehand. I understand that it was necessary in order for him to measure my baby bump but he did not communicate to me what he was doing and that he needed access to that area before unbuttoning, and unzipping my jeans.

Dr. Farmer was very nice. I was out of town, and trying to find a doctor in my insurance plan last minute proved difficult. I did not feel uncomfortable seeing this doctor at all. The entire staff was friendly, communicative and thorough. My issues were addressed. I would definitely go back if I wind up moving to Texas!
