My previous (beloved) allergy asthma doctor retired, so I've been trying to find someone great to replace him the past few years. I can confidently say, after seeing several other doctors, Dr. Fritz the whole package - experienced, sharp, friendly, good listener, great team. Glad I found this office.

I may have missed something(s) online with my paperwork, however, I felt the receptionist(s) were more concerned about the length of time I was taking to fill out my paperwork, than accuracy of my paperwork work. I felt rushed when I was asked if I was finished, that I was over my appointment time.
Also, I received a call on 5/24/2021 asking me to “change my appointment time (11:45am) because my appointment would run into their lunchtime.” Dr. Fritz is awesome, and I know from y own experience, that he will give each of his patients as much time as needed whether the time runs into “lunchtime”or not. He is a very compassionate doctor! His receptionists are his frontline staff, who, in my opinion, can make or break his reputation!
I would suggest that new incoming patients have the ability to fill out lengthy paperwork way ahead of time, either online, which I may have missed, via email or snail mail.

Dr. Fritz, who grew up in Portland, has been practicing allergy and asthma medicine for over 17 years. He is pleased to provide his expertise at his two new offices in Gresham and Happy Valley. Our staff are all seasoned allergy and asthma healthcare professionals as well. We are well versed in treating all types of allergies, from the most common to the rarest. Portland Allergy & Asthma is one of the few clinics in Oregon to provide food, venom, and drug desensitization, along with being one of the largest practices on the West Coast for Hereditary Angioedema (HAE) patients and research studies.
With patient-centered care being the heart of our practice, we take the time necessary to understand your particular needs. Our goal is to have you feeling better walking out of our office than when you first walked in.
In addition to the time and attention we provide our patients, what makes us unique is our involvement and commitment to research in the field of allergy and asthma. Dr. Fritz has been the principal investigator in over 50 FDA approved studies and is recognized as a leader in his field.

I have been with AAIM for about five years and they are the best of the best. I have struggled my whole life with severe allergies & asthma (the worst case most doctors have seen). Through this clinic I have become able to to be around cute dogs, ridden my first horse & successfully gotten off of my inhaled steroids that I have depended on for years. I have also managed to desensitize myself to peanuts, which has been a life long deadly allergy for me. Nothing but five stars for this amazing clinic. They are my second family, and I love everyone on the staff.
