Dr. Stephen Larsen received his undergraduate degree with honors from the University of Illinois and his Medical Degree and surgical training from Rush Medical College where he was named Intern of the Year. After his residency in Urology, Dr. Larsen elected to complete a fellowship in Andrology (Male infertility) at University College London Hospital in London.
IMS is excited to add Dr. Larsen to our staffing lineup and to benefit from his expertise in the infertility and surgical fields. His experience enables us to diversify our offerings in infertility testing and procedures, including vasectomy reversals and the more unique Vasoepididymostomy, making us one of the few urology centers in the valley to offer this procedure. Dr. Larsen is also well-versed in prosthetics, artificial sphincter and other post-surgical and corrective surgeries.
Dr. Larsen in a member of the American Medical Association, The American Urological Association, the Chicago Urological Society, and the Sexual Medicine Society. He has authored and co-authored in such publications as the Journal of Sexual Medicine, the International Journal of Impotence Research, and Journal of Urology. Dr. Larsen has also presented research at national and international meetings.
In his free time Dr. Larsen enjoys being outdoors, golfing, and spending time with his wife, family and friends.
