Dr. Stephen Levin believes and emphasizes that healthy feet promote overall orthopedic health. Many patients with foot pain also complain of back, neck, and even headache pain. The feet are the foundation that supports the weight of our entire body. And, poor foot posture can impede daily activities.
Dr. Levin, a native of Baltimore, Maryland, has lived in Tampa for over ten years. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Maryland in College Park. He furthered his education, successfully completing four years at the Pennsylvania School of Podiatric Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. After completing a two year medical and surgical residency at Montgomery Hospital Medical Center in Norristown, Pennsylvania, he moved to Tampa to start his practice.
Dr. Levin is married to his wife Diane and has three children: David, Sam, and Sarah. They reside in New Tampa where they are proud sponsors of New Tampa Little League, Terrace Community Middle School and are members of both New Tampa Chamber of Commerce and Wesley Chapel Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Levin is Board Certified in Foot Surgery by the American Board of Podiatric Surgery, and he is currently 2nd Vice President of the Florida Podiatric Medical Association (FPMA). Prior to his service on the state association board, he served as President of the Hillsborough County Podiatric Medical Association, a post he has held for ten years. Notably, Dr. Levin was selected as Young Practitioner of the Year (2005) by the Florida Podiatric Medical Association.

I recently had an appointment with Dr. Levin towards the end of January. There he diagnosed the problem during the visit and gave me a RX. The meds worked fine and within a few days all was well! The diagnosis is a reoccurring then that just randomly pops up so when I called in exactly 31 days later asking to send in another RX because of the same exact issue happened again, they were adamant about coming back in just to get that office visit claim money!! This office does not care about their patients, only about getting money. I understand Doctors need to make money however this is pathetic and Jen lied saying it was against FL law, but she didn't realize that I work for the insurance company and there's no such law stating that.... So thumbs down to this office, if you want a Doctors office that cares more about patients than making a dollar then keep on looking elsewhere!!!

The staff at this office are always helpful and friendly and Dr. Levin is knowledgeable and thorough. Pricing is fair and the office accepts and re-bills your insurance. Doesn't try to sell you services that you don't need and appointments are fairly easy to get.
This office does a lot more than just feet! Ask about laser therapy for veins, lotions and a large orthotic shoe selection with many sizes in stock.
The injections still hurt, though :)

Had our first appointment with Dr Levin 2/2014. I thought he was very professional and knowledgeable. Also, I found his staff to be very friendly and efficient. Made the appointment via the internet (ZocDoc) and receptionist called the following day to get some pre-appointment information.

I was promptly greeted and processed as a new patient. Staff was friendly and efficient. I was shown to a treatment room within a very few minutes. I was interviewed and told to wait for the Doctor. He came in two minutes later. I didn't have time to find my place in my book to start reading. Dr. Levin was friendly and informative regarding my problem. I was finished and on the road less than 45 minutes of arriving. I wouldn't hesitate to see them agqin if the need arose.

He doctor seemed tired and preoccupied when he came into my room. Trying to just exaun what had bern troubling me seemed be too time-consuming for him and I told the nurse this when she asked if he had answered all of my questions. She myst have told Dr. Levin what I'd intimated to her because when he came back in, he seemed a bit more helpful-- but not enough where I'd recommend going to him for more than an emergency or if another doctor could be found.

Dr. Levine is great. Very nice, personable and helpful. The front desk staff leaves a bit to be desired. I signed in at the desk & the woman couldn't bother to say hello. I sat and waited 20 min before anyone even acknowledged my existence. (I arrived extra early too). Others taken in front of me as well. Took over 1 hour for a 10 min appointment.
