Dr. Schroeder is an excellent doctor. My last appointment went very well. He addressed the problem with my foot, found what it was and gave the treatment to heal it. I have gone to Dr. Schroeder for other problems with my feet which he fixed very successfully. He is an excellent surgeon. He is very friendly and cares very much about his patients. I would highly recommend him to anyone with foot issues.

Dr. Schroeder is board certified in Reconstructive Rearfoot and Ankle Surgery as well as Foot Surgery. He is a Fellow of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association.
Dr. Schroeder believes in personalizing his approach for each patient to achieve a full and early return to normal activities and function. He utilizes appropriate intervention and emphasizes education, involving the patient in the decision making, treatment, and healing process.
In addition to treating general foot and ankle problems, Dr. Schroeder has special interest in treating sports related injuries, complex limb deformity, chronic pain from arthritic conditions, and limb threatening disease associated with diabetes. He offers the latest advanced arthroscopic procedures and total ankle replacement for arthritis of the ankle. He also treats congenital and pediatric problems including club feet, in-toeing, flat feet, and toe walking.
Outside of the office, Dr. Schroeder is involved in education, lecturing nationally as well as publishing numerous articles and contributing chapters to medical textbooks. He also enjoys the outdoor adventures the Northwest has to offer including golf, biking, skiing, hiking, running with his dogs, and traveling with his family.

Very relaxed, pleasant introduction. Got to business promptly. Went at nice pace with Dr asking questions and allowing me to ask questions and express some thoughts about cause of problem. X-ray done. Dr explained X-ray as he showed me th X-ray. He explained the options for treatment, allowed me to ask more questions and together we chose the treatment plan. I was very comfortable with our integration and felt confident in his ability knowledge.

Dr. Schroeder was very nice. The visit however was a waste of time but not his fault. I used zocdoc to find a podiatrist to look and treat a plantar wart. It offered Dr. Schroeder as an option which I ended up booking. However, he works in a sports medicine practice and doesn't treat things like plantar warts. I wish I had known that so I would not have wasted my co-pay and (my and his) time there.

My entire visit with the doctor lasted like for about 3 minutes, doctor was not friendly at all. I scheduled the visit based on the positive reviews and I was very disappointed. The entire staff lacks bedside manners, the only positive was the wait time was about 5 minutes. There was no definite diagnosis but total lack of customer service skills and friendly attitude.
First time I had scheduled an appointment specifying the location, I had a reminder call the previous day confirming the same. When I walked in they said it was for another location and I could drive there. Really? No apologies after too.

It was great that my x-ray results were available immediately. It was a nice to talk about my results and the implications right there rather than getting an email two days later.

Dr. Schroeder is an excellent podiatrist. I have had foot and ankle pain for more than 4 years, he quickly got to the root of my problem and found out my foot is broken. I finally feel like I have answers and more importantly, a solution to my chronic pain! I would recommend Dr. Schroeder highly to anyone experiencing foot pain.

All options, short- and long-term, were discussed along with pros and cons for each. Clearly demonstrated and explained issue on the x-rays. I didn't feel pressured to choose one way over another. In short, I felt like I received all the information I need in a non-biased way so the end decision was mine. I liked this doc!

Very impressed with his approach to my problem feet. Very pleased to learn he actually has written a paper on "Stump Neuroma" one of my foot problems. Even when Dr. Schroeder had to give injections into my feet that were very painful, he seemed very caring and kept checking to make sure I was okay. I feel I will receive the type of care I desire.
