Very courteous reception. Nice offices very clean and professional. Exam and biopsy were done very efficiently.
Very nice staff! Although I think they need a little more organization! Doc was very nice.
No waiting. Very pleasant. Happy with doctor and staff.
Didn't even attempt to look at my rash, I had to show him and he hardly looked, nor did he listen to anything I said. I was bit by something at nigh while t I spent at my boyfriends parents, and his mother also had bites, but an exterminator had previously come and didn't find anything. I was crawling in my skin, it felt like I was being continuously bitten and something was living in my skin. I do not go to doctors often at all, as my parents are hospital pharmacists. But this rash was so serious and so painful that I had to seek relief. So, I assumed because it was all over my body that i'd change into a gown, but once I was in Dr Switlyk's exam room I was being rushed by his assistant or whomever, who kept saying "come on come on come on" as I tried to describe my symptoms to him. I told him how I felt like I was being bitten during the night at my "in-laws", and he actually told me "heres some advice, next time you visit them, get a hotel room." I found that to be an extremely idiotic, offensive, and insensitive statement to make. He's supposed to be helping me with my ailment that was already afflicting me, I needed advice on what the potential cause might have been, how to make it feel better and heal. Instead, he implied that my in-laws were dirty or something, and that it was somehow my fault (or worse, my in-laws fault) because I wasn't precautions (or psychotic) enough to stay in a hotel while visiting family(?)..not to mention the fact that hotels are notoriously much less clean than they appear. Also, what kind of a medical professional passes judgement on a patient and their family for their sickness, and questions their judgement? He showed no empathy for them, their wellbeing, or their home whatsoever, and instead of attempting to address my skin problems, chose instead to offer extremely unhelpful "advice" based on fallacious logic. Is that what you (Dr Switlyk) consider preventative medicine? Aren't you supposed to try to figure out how or why this happened at their home, and how to keep it from harming others ? Bottomline, Dr Switlyk made me feel as if I wasn't worth his time, almost as if I was overreacting. He did not examine me physically nor give any attention to what you have to say. I could not trust what he prescribed, and did not use it because I felt that it was completely random, as if it was someone else's medication that, due to some clerical mix up, I ended up with. It all had nothing to do with me and my situation. I felt utterly confused and dumbfounded when I left his office, maybe 10 minutes tops after I was called in.

I recommend Dr. Switlyk to all my friends & family who need a Dermatologist!! Dr. Switlyk is very competent & his staff are really efficient & nice.
After visiting other dermatologist and suffering with my skin condition for over 10 years Dr. Switlyk was able to diagnose and treat my problem on the first visit. The staff were also very knowledgable and friendly. He came highly recommended by my primary doctor. I am grateful for that.
