Verified Patient Reviews
The time in the waiting room was less than 15 minutes. Dr. Bleckner was both friendly and professional. He also discussed several options for the treatment of my injury and left the choice up to me.
I loved dr bleckner. He didn’t waste my time at all: he asked me great questions, had a hypothesis about the problem, gave me an X-ray and confirmed what diagnosis. Now I have a treatment plan for a problem I’ve had for years. He’s hilarious and light hearted too. So happy with him!
Very professional and informative.
Great! I feel comfortable and certain he is going to do what’s best to heal my knee
I trust Dr Bleckner and appreciate his efficiency and "bedside manner". My xrays were taken and reviewed quickly by Dr Bleckner. He suggested several options for treating my condition but didn't pressure me to decide. We agreed I'd follow up in 10 days to see if my condition after trying one of the option, improves.
My visits are always awesome when I see him.
Pleasant demeanor and listens to your problem and suggests treatments best for you. Even though the office was in transition and busy he was kind enough to apologize for any inconvenience and worked through the changes.
Great and very knowledgeable.
Many complain about wait time but I did my paperwork thru zocdoc and was seen right away!
Dr. Bleckner was kind and reassuring, as were all the staff members.
The other reviews are spot on. The Dr was great, but there is a small wait. For me his knowledge and bed side manner are worth it though!
Very good bedside manner. Listened to my concerns and offered reasonable testing and solutions.
Took good care of addressing my elbow issues quick and also explained well how to treat at home .Highly recommend the office and Dr .
Very quickly diagnosed my condition after x-ray and gave me immediate relief. His bedside manner is commendable and the staff are friendly.
My experience was pleasing, I was comfortable and the attention towards my concerns were received and noted. I have a two week follow up and will report my findings.
Dr. Bleckner was very pleasant, engaging and made me feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend him.
Excellent visit. Thorough care from a Dr. who understands sports injuries. Both my son (the injured person) and I liked how he explained the injury and how he proceeded with caution. Zocdoc comes through again.
I think he is an awesome doctor.
A real people person, great conversation. Knows his stuff.
Very personable, knowledgeable and friendly. Would highly recommend him to all my friends and family!
Dr. Bleckner is warm and very humble. He works with you like you are family.
Excellent bedside manner! Highly recommend!
Pleasant with a terrific bedside manner!!!
Dr. Bleckner was thorough and explained his diagnosis and treatment clearly. The support staff was nice and efficient.
He is excellent doctor. I was lucky because I met him
This was my first visit to this office the doctor was thorough in his examination and explanation at my level of what the problem was and his intentions on treatment. I was seen in a timely manner The staff was professional the office was clean and it appeared that the office and professional equipment have been updated to current items. The doctor made me feel comfortable and his bedside manner was above the normal I would gladly go back to see him and would recommend him highly to others.
Dr. Bleckner was very kind, thoughtful and attentive. He did a wonderful job of educating me and making me comfortable. I would highly recommend him without any reservations! The appointment was quick and thorough and they offer onsite physical therapy which is a huge plus
Dr. Bleckner remembered me from many years ago when he treated a broken ankle. He treated my problem today in very professional way. I was most pleased with my appointment. Will definitely continue to us him as needed.
Great. Highly professional, personable, relates really well to athletes.
Busy Man but attentive to my needs and gave firm recommendations.
Efficient, professional, and friendly
Outstanding physician. I have a lot of confidence in his judgement.
The wait was a little long, but Dr. Bleckner is fantastic - highly approachable and knowledgeable, with a great bedside manner. Will definitely be returning for future orthopedic needs.
I really like his demeanor, his professionalism, and his knowledge of his profession. I keep going back.
I was very pleased with my visit today, Dr. Bleckner took his time listening to my complaints or aliments. Suggested a path to follow to try and relieve the pain and swelling in the affected areas. Subscribed medicine to help reduce the swelling and pain, and suggested a follow up if the aliments persist.
He was very rushed. Doesnt spend enough time talking to patients. I was out of his office in under 5 minutes. Was not very kind this visit
Overall, this was good first impression. I liked the no nonsense evaluation. Once in the patient room everything when quickly and efficiently. Not rushed.
Dr. Bleckner was energetic, clear, and pleasant. He was very reassuring to my pre-teen daughter who needed to have a dislocated fracture treated. His manner with her and with me was wonderful. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Bleckner and his assistant was excellent!
Efficient yet took the time to answer questions I had.
Everyone was kind and profesional
Dr. Bleckner is great. He's personable and professional. Each time I went to see him he got me out of pain immediately - he's the man when it comes to cortisone shots!!!
Sort of rushed. He had no idea at the end of the hour what was wrong so he gave me the name of an MRI office to go to.
Dr. Bleckner is very knowledgeable and also very good with patients - two things difficult to find in one doctor. His office is a bit of a hike from where I live in DC, but it was worth it. He gave me answers and was extremely helpful for my job-related paperwork. I highly recommend him.
Failed to explain in detail the diagnosis and what I should expect from the recommended treatment.
I would recommend him to anyone that needed an Orthopedic Dr. He is professional, thorough and has a great table-side manner. He got me out of pain while in the office and order additional testing to make sure he is on top of the problem. Going back to him next week.
Dr. Bleckner seemed competent when I finally got to see him but the remainder of the staff was fairly unprofessional. One of the receptionists was extremely loud, emotional, and continually talking about whatever she happened to be thinking about and at one point freaked out when a patient was no longer seen in the waiting room. I think if the office had been more tightly and professionally managed than the wait would not have been as long and the process would have run smoother.
I've been seeing Dr. Bleckner and his PT staff for 10 years or more. Never had an unpleasant visit. Dr. Bleckner also treats my mom and she LOVES him as well.
Dr. Bleckner was very thorough but went very fast. I had to prompt him for extra information and kind of felt like I was taking up his time. He seemed very knowledgeable though.
Dr. Blecknee is great and I highly recommend him. However, the waiting room was really loud and chaotic, mostly because of one very loud receptionist. She was talking at a very loud volume to people on person, as well as on the phone, and it was obnoxious. I was happy when I was called just so I could finally get out of the crazy waiting room!
Loved the doctor!! Great bedside manner. Thoroughly explained my injury and fascilatated my road to recovery! The wait was longer than expected, but i was told it was one of their busy days and that it usually wasn't that way.
Dr. Bleckner was extremely friendly and helpful, as is everyone in his office. There was a bit of a wait as it is a very busy practice.
Nice. He was good.
Dr. Bleckner explored simple treatments first before exploring more complicated options.
Doctor Bleckner was wonderful and remembered me from my husband's knee surgery last year. He is very easy to talk to and quickly addressed my issue.
Highly professional and friendly doctor.
Dr Bleckner was great. The wait time was a little excessive but they were very busy.
Great first visit at this practice.
My first visit with Dr. Bleckner went well; he seemed to be caring and thorough; however my follow up visit was quite the opposite. He came in, felt my foot, and after I told him that it was no change since the last visit his advise was to continue physical therapy and go for an mri if nothing changed. I thought to myself if nothing had changed in 2 1/2 weeks what makes him think that it would. I was right, here I am 2 weeks later and nothing has changed. I'm going for the MRI and will go back to Dr. Bleckner for at least the MRI results - if that visit goes like the last I will consider another doctor.
He was great! Very helpful and very kind.
Thorough, efficient, very , very knowledgeable.
Dr. Bleckner was friendly and saw me promptly. It felt a little rushed though. I would have preferred a little more time to discuss my diagnosis with him.
Although Dr. Bleckner could not help me today, I would go back to him in a few months fro now for a follow up to my situation. He is very nice and did spend time with me making sure I understood my problem. He was not insulting but was very honest with me. One reason I saw Dr. Bleckner was the doctor I had before did not seem very confident with himself. Dr. Bleckner on the other had seemed to come across as someone who had vast experience.
He was understanding, thorough, and seemed highly knowledgable. I was referred to him by my boss who swears by him and I couldn't be happier with my visit.
Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend him to everyone!
Pleased with my visit, and will return to this doctor.
Very personable and professional. Addresses the problem and plan of care well. Very impressed.
The whole staff is great and they stay on schedule so you're not waiting long to be seen.
My visit to Dr. Bleckner was an absolute pleasure. I went there with a little knee issue most likely due over training during marathon training. He took the time to listen to me, check my knee out, a few x-rays to rule out structural damage which helped confirm IT band issues. After a little cortisone shot, a self guided course of rehab to remedy the issue, and some cross-training, I should be fit as a fiddle in 4-6 weeks. Overall, my best visit or interaction with an orthopedic doctor. We'll see how it works out when I revisit in 3 weeks!
Friendly, professional bedside manner. Efficient and helpful!
Dr. Bleckner is both very personable and very professional. He saw me quickly on a busy day and diagnosed and treated me accordingly with good feedback about follow up. I was very pleased with my care.
I loved the office and Dr. Bleckner's treatment. I had ACL replacement surgery in late October and have since done a half marathon and my first triathlon with little to no knee pain.
Dr. Bleckner has excellent credentials, but also listens and communicates really well. On my first appointment, I had a question that I remembered once Dr. Bleckner had left the room. The nurse called him back, and he happily sat back down and talked through my additional questions with me - I didn't feel like I was inconveniencing him, and his responses were medically specific but he using too much medical jargon. On my follow-up appointment, he brought in two models of a knee to help me understand what had happened to my knee on the inside, in addition to showing me on my knee. He even remembered what part of metro area that I live in from my first appointment - again, he listens really well! I was very impressed and highly recommend him!
He was sooo easy to understand if you have any hearing problem.
really personable and nice guy. rarely do i feel like the doc actually cares but he was interested in my background and interests and i think that is a great characteristic for a doc when people are already stressed & nervous about being there in the first place. his demeanor gave off a sense of 'i got this' which i liked.
I highly recommend him. Incredible doctor!!!!! ^_^
He is so super awesome! I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for the ultimate professional care.
Very knowledgeable person. He explained things very well. Would recommend him.
Dr. Bleckner was very thorough and easy to talk to. The office waiting room was crowded and not so nice.
Dr. Bleckner was incredibly friendly, caring, and easy to talk to. He explained everything along the way and his line of thinking. This was my first time seeing Dr. Bleckner, but I'd gladly go back to him in the future.
