If you want a seasoned professional, highly qualified, a true gentleman, who will tell you the truth vs. what you want to hear, Dr. Klein is the perfect choice. I love him. I stepped away for a few years due to insurance, so glad to be back. Best staff ever too. Courteous, friendly and empathetic.

I have been caring for women as an OB/GYN for over 30 years. As my father before me, I have devoted my career to practice the best care for each individual patient in order to maintain her health and provide the optimum treatment for any illness when needed.
Training and Experience
University of Pennsylvania College Degree in Psychology, internship New York Medical College Hospital, residency NYU-Bellevue Hospital Center, Wilford Hall Medical Center United States Air Force Chief of Gynecology, fellowship Maternal-Fetal Medicine New York University, Chief Obstetrics and Maternal-Fetal Medicine, Winthrop University Hospital, Assistant Professor Clinical OB/GYN State University of New York Stony Brook, Founder and Medical Director Madonna Perinatal Services, attending Winthrop University Hospital, attending Northwell Health Services System Plainview Campus.
My practice is primarily focused on adult gynecologic medicine and surgery. This consists of contraception and family planning, menstrual disorders, gender selection services, endometriosis, pelvic pain (vulvodynia), gynecologic cancer detection and management of menopause. However, my patient’s general health is part of my evaluation as this impacts gynecologic well being. I utilize the Winthrop and/or Northwell Health Systems for surgical therapy and inpatient care. I stress individualized care and not clinic style care.

Dr. Klein truly cares about his patients. He treats you like a family member.In this day and age it is very rare that you find a doctor who still truly cares about his patients, takes time to sit and talk with you, and really listen. You never feel dismissed or rushed. He is an amazingly kind & intelligent doctor.

Dr. Klein is the most attentive doctor I have ever come across in my life. He tells you how it is and at the same time makes you feel like you are going to be taken care of. He is trust worthy and dependable. If I could go to Dr. Klein for every possible doctors appointment (not only OBGYN) I would in a heartbeat. He goes beyond a doctors duty and makes me feel like I am part of his family.
