Great visit. Was able to immediately follow up my annual physical with the tests I needed based on the concerns I had, without having to schedule follow ups. Good explanations of tests and care too. I like feeling like an informed patient, and it gave me a lot of confidence in Dr. Murphy.

As always he was professional, extremely knowledgeable regarding the numerous issues/questions I had, a great listener, compassionate (my husband, a fellow patient, has recently died), & went that "one more step" in gathering information & evaluating symptoms. Unfortunately, I expected & encountered a long wait of up to 40 minutes, which was due to "walk-ins" (there were 2 that I know of) & his already busy practice.
My concern is what will happen when he takes on the full "load" of Dr. Borges' patients - I am most certainly glad that he IS taking us on - but how is scheduling & waiting going to be?

I love Dr. Murphy's truly preventative approach to healthcare! Other doctors just try to push pills on your symptoms rather than enabling your immune system to be strong with proper nutrition. "Food is fuel."

My son who is a patient of record of Dr. Murphy recently got very ill. We are in the process of lining up several specialists for his illness, which unfortunately will be prolonged. I could not get Dr. Murphy to return an email or a phone call for over a week and a half. I clearly stated that my son had just spent a week in the hospital and needed several different doctors for a complex medical issue, and just had a few brief questions. After ten days, I was finally told that I could schedule a phone call, but it would be a week away, because he is busy. This is unacceptable. I will be going elsewhere.

I left a busy, unattentive group practice (10 years) to visit Dr. Murphy. I never have to wait for appointments. He really listens to my concerns and gives me his undivided attention. My prescriptions are filled quickly. When I was hospitalized after back surgery, he was very professional and very knowledgable. I would recommend Dr. Murphy to anyone seeking a primary care physician.

Doctor Murphy is the most agreeable and enjoyable general practitioner that my wife and I have ever encountered. You will not find a nicer man anywhere, he is incredibly sincere and knowledgeable. I think that his geneticists background really gives him an advantage over his competition. Highly recommended.
