Nice guys and peaceful office. I don’t remember if he had a treasure box with stickers though!!! But what i remember is his patience with my injury and not only that he listened and even though i was in extreme pain the first thing i said was I dont want pain killers I just want to get this fixed and he helped my anxiety. He told me It will eventually heal and be okay and physical therapy will help. He also followed up and as much pain as i was in he gave me hope and physical therapy script.

Great visit! Injured my shoulder and got a same day appointment. Front office employee was very friendly and helpful, as was the MA and doctor himself. Correctly diagnosed me and I’m already feeling better. Would go back if I ever need to.

Love Dr. Porter! I love that he makes direct eye contact with you. I've had finger, knee and shoulder surgery and he makes you feel at ease. Ilove his bedside manner. He's awesome!!

He's such a great Orthopedic Dr... This was my second time seeing him in 2 years and my experience was just as great as the first. Dr. Porter was very professional and friendly. The wait to see the Doctor was long but it was because he was delayed in a surgery. It was immediately announced to those in the waiting room that he was delayed and rescheduling options were offered. A call-back appointment was scheduled for just a few days later after imaging studies were done.

When I first walked into the office I was not impressed with how sterile it seemed and the receptionist did not seem friendly or talkative.....When I met Dr Porter, who was really having a busy day, he was friendly and made me feel at ease and I could tell that he was really listening to me and understood my reasons for being there. He answered all of my questions re: my shoulder and my "trigger finger" and treated both during that visit....he gave three alternatives and I feel quite confident in his background, training and professional expertise.....I was totally impressed with Dr Porter and will seek his advice if needed again....

I had a good experience initially and booked an appt for my daughter. I took her to the appt after taking off work and getting her out of school. Got there and he'd left for the afternoon. Couldn't see her. Couldn't give her an excuse for school and were completely unapologetic about it. Awful!

It appears that the area that Dr. Porter removed the fluid is becoming filled with fluid again. I very possibly will need to go thru the three gel shot routine. Dr. Porter was extremely professional and did what he felt was best.

I had Dr. Porter examine a long time shoulder issue i had been having (over 5 years). My first visit Dr ordered an mri, gave me a shot and sent me on my way all while being a super guy. I followed up and he diagnosed me and recommended physical therapy. I went through pt with no noticeable reduction in pain or increase in activity. I followed up with Dr porter and advised him of this and he recommended a Distal Clavicle Excision, i agreed and allowed him to perform the surgery in 4/2015.
I am very happy to say that I have fully recovered (12/2015), not just from the surgery, but i have all of my strength back. I went to dr porter because i was unable to lift weights without pain in my shoulder, I no longer have any issues with my shoulder and had no post surgery issues. I highly recommend Dr. Porter.

Both my sons have been under his care since 2011, my oldest tore meniscus and Dr. Porter operated on him with very minimum scar left on his knee. My youngest has been going to Dr. Porter for Osgood-Schratter disease and other sports injuries. We love Dr. Porter! His assistant Michelle is very professional too which makes our visit very easy and painless.

Short wait time. Dr. Porter was open about the treatment options and risk/expectation for each option. I brought X-rays with me on CD, and they had no problems accessing and reviewing them.

Dr. Porter was great. Explained exactly what he was doing and did his best not to move me around in positions he knew would be uncomfortable. He scheduled an MRI for an hour later and then a new appointment for the next day. I couldn't be happier with my choice of doctors.

I was a new patient that day. I thought Dr. Porter was great. You know you can tell right away if you are going to like them or not. And if they care or not. And right away I really liked him and could tell he cared. My sister went in with me and felt the same as I. She really liked him too. The staff was 50/50.
