Dr. Subena Mahal Tilley was born in New Jersey and moved to Fremont at the age of 3. Her father and mother, Drs. Anmol Mahal and Surjit Mahal, are established physicians in the community. Now along with her husband, Dr. Barrett Tilley she is starting her practice in Fremont.
Dr. Mahal Tilley received her Bachelor degree in Art from Georgetown University in Washington, DC. She then went on to receive her medical degree from Western University of Health Science in Pomona, CA. She completed her residency at the St. Anthony's Family Medicine Program in Denver, CO. Additionally she spent a year as Chief Resident/Faculty for the St. Anthony's Family Medicine Program. Dr. Mahal Tilley is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. She is fluent in Spanish.
In her free time Dr. Mahal Tilley enjoys hiking, rock climbing, yoga and mountain biking. She is very excited to come back to her hometown.

I love this office and Dr. Tilley is just fantastic. I never wait longer than 5 minutes and even today, when I thought I had an appointment, they got me in quickly. She is so easy to talk to and I like the fact that she is more on the conservative side when it comes to medication and she appreciates what you do on your own and research you may have done. I am very glad I switched after 10 years with the same doctor. Staff is always helpful and polite.

Everyone from the secretary to the nurse to Dr. Tilley to the receptionist were professionals and extremely kind and helpful.
Dr. Tilley is thorough and up-to-date in her medical knowledgable and is able to well articulate her answers to questions. I fee confidant in her and appreciate that she ordered the tests needed due to my age and explained why they were necessary since I tend to put off such things.

She is a nice person, alright, however, even though I took my time to type some of my concerns, she did not address well two of those. Sure, she is too busy trying to keep appointments with other patients, however, isn't it the point of each appointment? Yeah, I'll still keep her as my primary care doctors.
