Dr. Sudeepta Varma is a board certified psychiatrist and clinical assistant professor of psychiatry at the NYU Langone Medical Center. She was also the founding medical director and attending psychiatrist to a prestigious mental health program at NYU Langone.
In her private practice, Dr. Varma's work specializes in working with individuals and couples with anxiety/depression/ADHD and relationship problems. Dr. Varma offers psychiatric consultation and treatment for depression and anxiety spectrum disorders, attention-deficit disorder, couples and sexual problems. She provides psychotherapy with and without medication. Through cognitive behavioral therapy and/or medication management when needed, most patients find significant improvement. She is also trained in mindfulness based approaches for anxiety and depression.
