I was very glad to get a same week appointment with an allergy doctor who sees children in this area. There is some issue with them not seeing appointments booked through ZocDoc in a timely manner. The staff was very pleasant and accommodated the first visit for my young child well despite being unaware of the appointment until we arrived. I was VERY grateful as we had just finished a 1.5 hour drive to get there and faced a nearly 2 hour drive home. We were seen in a timely manner and paperwork was handled quickly. I was able to get my son an allergy test and the doctor took his time to explain his recommended plan of action, how long I should expect to wait for results, and how my son's allergies may change over time. The staff seems well equipped to work with younger children and the experience was positive overall.

He is so nice, he really cares about his patients, and for the first time in the US, I found a doctor that didn't just give me a bunch of medication without investigating better options for me. He took a lot of time to talk to me about my background and symptoms, and ended up suggesting exchanging some medicine I had been taking for exercise and yoga to avoid negative side effects. This was an amazing experience for me... I feel very happy and confident, he is for sure one of the best doctors that I've visited. Thank you, Dr. :)

Dr. Sudhir Sekhsaria is an accomplished and diligent allergist providing pediatric allergy care to his patients in Rockville, Waldorf, White Marsh, and Baltimore. Dr. Sekhsaria is certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and he is a member of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology and the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology.
Dr. Sekhsaria attended the Government Medical College to receive his medical education. He then completed his rotating internship at the same institution, before he completed his postgraduate residency studying ear, nose, and throat. Dr. Sekhsaria relocated to the United States to complete his pediatric residency at the Howard University Hospital. He then completed his fellowship in allergy, asthma, and immunology at the National Institutes of Health. Dr. Sekhsaria currently serves as the chief of allergy, asthma, and immunology at the Union Memorial Hospital. He treats patients experiencing rashes, drug allergies, allergic asthma, and allergic eye problems.

Wait time was pretty rough and the front desk staff could’ve done a better job of explaining what was going on. Got there about 10 minutes before my appointment, wasn’t even addressed for the first half hour and didn’t get into a room for almost an hour and a half. That being said, Dr. Sekhsaria was awesome. Easily the best experience I’ve had with a physician. He listened to my issues, quickly assessed my symptoms and gave me solutions. He spent a lot of time getting to know my history and was able to connect some of my issues and give me clear paths for solution. I plan to return to Dr. Sekhsaria because the care I received was well worth the wait.

She was turning me away for have my actual insurance card but another representative informed me that I could still be seen if I emailed them. What I like about him is that he isn't quick to prescribe "medicines" but rather look at the best, most natural cure for your ailments - whatever that may be. The lady at the front desk was not very personalble at all. My appointment was for 3:30. Still in the waiting area at 4:15, I asked how long would it be before I was seen. The receptionist replies, "He is running behind. He has three in the room and he stepped out for coffee." She then looked at me as if to say "Now get out of my face." I was not taken to the back until 4:35 pm. Unexceptable!!
