Sue Mersch is a certified nurse midwife who received her bachelor’s degree from Rush University in Chicago, IL. Sue received her master’s of science from the University of Illinois, Chicago with a specialty in midwifery. She has been in in the women’s health field for 30 years. Before becoming a midwife, Sue was a former labor and delivery nurse and childbirth educator of the Bradley Method. She resigned from catching babies and sees obstetrical and gynecological clients at the Woodbridge office.
Sue believes our physical and emotional health and the quality of life we experience are intertwined – and when balanced, creates more vitality, happiness, and peace. So nutrition, supplements, and alternative therapies are encouraged.
When she’s not at work, Sue leads workshops that educate participants on their physical health. These workshops help to share a new point of view in relationships between men and women and to help them see the other is not misbehaving. Being in nature rejuvenates Sue and she is either running, biking, hiking, or kayaking. She also loves flying back to her hometown to visit her son, Eric.
Sue only sees patients at our Woodbridge location.
