What a great experience! I had a spot on my face that was concerning. The Dr did a quick and painless biopsy and made me feel so comfortable. I had my 6yo son with me and everyone was so wonderful to him too.

Love this doctor and the office staff. They are ALL wonderful. This is the only time I’ve ever had biopsy’s done and it not hurt at all!! The doctor and nurses listen to u and don’t just try to rush u in and out. Would recommend this office and doctor to everyone!!

Sulochana Bhandarkar, M.D. is originally from India. She is a board-certified dermatologist who earned her medical degree and completed her first dermatology residency from Kasturba Medical College, Mangalore in India. Her Post-Doctoral Dermatology Research Fellowship and her second residency training in Dermatology were received from Emory University School of medicine in Atlanta, Georgia. While at Emory University for her residency in Dermatology, she received the American Academy of Dermatology International Society Meeting Grant as well as an Academic research grant from the Women’s Dermatologic Society. She was also the recipient of the American Skin Association Research Grant in 2013.
Dr. Bhandarkar has authored and published several peer-reviewed journal articles and has lectured on numerous dermatologic conditions including several board review courses for Internists. She is a member of the American Academy of Dermatology and the American Society of Dermatologic Surgery. She has volunteered her time to various medical camps in India where she has provided free consultation and medications to underserved patients. She has also volunteered for numerous skin cancer screenings and health fairs throughout Georgia.
Dr. Bhandarkar is an avid traveler, experienced swimmer and runner, and she enjoys Indian classical instrumental music.

I was very grateful to get an appointment with such short notice. Additionally, I waited less than 5 mins before I was called back. Dr. Bhandarker greeted me with friendly smile and made me immediately feel comfortable. She was very thorough in explaining what she was doing (checking my moles) and gave some great advice on managing my skin. I highly recommend Dr. Bhandarker as I had such great experience!
