About Dr. Suneye Koohsari

Payment is due at the time of visit and you will be provided with a super-bill to submit to your insurance for out-of-network benefits if you choose.
- First Month: $350 for 1-hr in-person appointment + 30 min virtual follow-up
- Following Months: $250 for 30 minute in-person or virtual appointment
Dr. Koohsari is a diplomate of the American Board of Obesity Medicine and a board-certified family physician with a decade of experience in preventative care and chronic health management.
Patients are often told to “eat less, move more” without addressing the complex underlying causes of excess weight. Dr. Koohsari is passionate about partnering with patients to understand the underlying causes of excess weight and provide them with the tools to achieve their goals, improve their quality of life, and prevent chronic medical conditions. She focuses on a holistic approach, making sure to incorporate patients’ cultural and family identities into the treatment plan.
Treatment plans include a combination of guidance on lifestyle modifications along with prescription weight-loss medications if indicated including GLP-1 receptor agonists such as semaglutide (Wegovy, Ozempic), liraglutide (Saxenda, Victoza).
