The staff was nice and the wait was fairly short even though there were quite a few people in the office. When I was taken into the room I was seen by nurse practitioner and not the doctor. She was very nice but other assistants kept coming in and out of the room to grab supplies. She was then interrupted again and asked to come assist one of the other nurses. She apologized, left the room for about 5-10 minutes, then came back and administered an allergy test. I was brought to wait in a cold back room for 20 minutes and taken back to read the results as negative. When the doctor finally stepped in she went on to the nurse about how she gave me the wrong test. At this point I had been there over an hour already. She attended to me herself taking the same exact info the nurse just spent half an hour taking, only to tell me to return next week to have another test taken and then return to a different office location a few days after for the results. The next week the second test came back as negative again and the doctor told me it was either definitely contact dermatitis or an insect bite...(how can it “definitely” be one or the other?)...Allergic reactions are hard to pinpoint if you don’t know the source (which is the reason i came altogether) but after a co-pay, 3 separate days, and many hours later I was still at square one. She gave me an over the counter allergy medicine and told me to come back AGAIN (3rd week) to see if the results have changed. No blood test was taken and my past reactions didn’t seem to be a concern. The doctor seems nice and attentive in the moment but perhaps has a little too much going on for an in-depth focus on a new issue. Anyone coming for routine allergy shots seemed extremely satisfied though. I would recommend her if you are treating already known allergies.
Dr. Sunita was very nice but her office was totally unorganized. My appointment was at 8 and she didn’t even get to the office until 9. She semi greeted me hello, but was distracted half of the time by her nurses. With that said she was thorough with her questions and diagnosis, and made sure to answer any questions I had. I will go back in hopes that it’s better next time.
Very professional and thorough. Spent nearly one hour with me.
My appointment was at 12:00 pm. She took me at 1:20. I was very dissapointed. She rushed me . It took her only 15 min . Maybe less. She asked me few questions and gave me some medicine that that's it
I was disappointed with our first visit. The office was extremely busy. Perhaps new patients should not be scheduled during peak times. The doctor entered the room and never introduced herself to me OR my daughter. She has a strong accent and is difficult to understand and asked me questions about my daughters history at a computer that was facing the wall. With her accent and her back to me, I kept saying excuse me and she was clearly getting annoyed. I do believe however that she is very knowledgable but did not at all get the caring and sympathetic experience as was in other reviews. Very disappointed. We canceled our follow up appointment.
Dr. Sunita Kanumury it's very knowledgeable,.. she was very pleasant and informative, she has great bedside manner, she listened to my concern and created a plan that best suited my needs based on my concerns. Highly recommend.
The wait time was excessive. The Newark office is literally TINY and you will be sitting/standing basically on top of one another.
Dr. Kanumury had wonderful bedside manner and I felt that she truly cared about me, her patient. She took the time to get to know a little about me besides the typical medical procedures. I would highly recommend her!
Sunita and her team were very helpful in answering my questions with a ton of detail.
The doctor arrived later than scheduled because we had snow fall in the morning. However, upon arrival, the doctor saw me right away and took her time talking through my issues. I would recommend this doctor again.
Dr Kanumury was very thorough in her examination and has a very good bedside manner. She also takes the time out to explain various allergic reactions and conditions and gave me printed handouts at the end of my visit. A very good doctor that I would recommend to anyone in need of patience, understanding and knowledge.
Very knowledgeable, professional and friendly. Nice staff as well.
My visit was great. Dr. Sunita is vey much the professional that you look for in a doctor
Very attentive and thorough. Took a full account of my history and made excellent recommendations. Great doctor for inexperienced patients.
I thought she was lovely & professional but I was left to sit in the waiting room for over 30 minutes. I would like to mention that I was the only one waiting. She was very apologetic.
Great and pleasant
The Dr. Is OK, but the facility is a mess.
The doctor and the nurse were very friendly and admirable. The receptionist, however, was not very nice. Beyond her not so nice attitude, great service. The doctor is very friendly and knowledgeable.
The Newark office was small but I liked the doctors professionalism and knowledge of my situationA
Great Nurses and awesome Doctor. Very through. Enjoyed my first visit. I highly recommend.
I am really impressed with her, I was so frustrated due to my skin issues, she was successful to release me from all my stress. My dermatologist scared me and sent me to see allergy specialist. Dr. Sunita caught my issue in just an hour and lucky that's not scary n serious as much my dermatologist told me ! So I highly recommend her who is fed up with any other Doctors!! God bless her .
