Dr. Melinda "Sunni" McBride, Doctor of Audiology, was just voted the Best Audiologist of the South Bay for the fourth straight year. Dr. McBride and her team of specialists have created a dynamic, award winning audiology/hearing aid practice, located in Torrance, that utilizes the newest in high tech equipment and stresses personalized customer service. She was given the Rising Star Award for fastest growing new practice in 2008 by GN Resound, one of the 5 largest hearing aid manufacturers in the world. She revitalized of one of the South Bay's oldest hearing aid practices, South Bay Hearing & Balance Center. Over three thousand customers have come to Dr. McBride for her expertise in assessing and treating hearing loss and dizziness.
South Bay Hearing and Balance Center was a recent sponsor of the Successful Aging Expo and the Women's Expo in Torrance. She has appeared as a guest lecturer on CNN and local cable television, taught classes in the Audiology program at California State Los Angeles University and given presentations about hearing to local and professional organizations. Because of her continued success building one of the premiere hearing aid practices in Southern California, she was invited to be the first provider of the Lyric, totally invisible, extended wear hearing aid. She has so many successful Lyric hearing aid users that she was recently designated a Lyric Elite Premier Provider.
