Dr. Evans graduated Magna Cum Laude from Houghton College with a B.S. in Psychology and Writing. She was accepted to a Master's Program at UCONN but decided to switch fields. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry degree from S.U.N.Y College of Optometry in 1995 with externships at Westpoint Military Academy and Castle Point V.A. Hospital. She was awarded the Frederick W. Brock Memorial Award for Outstanding Clinical Performance in Vision Therapy and the therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents Advanced Practice Certificate in 2002. With a special interest in nutrition and other healthy lifestyle practices for the eyes and body, she is delighted to bring her knowledge and experience to the patients at MyEyeDr. “I want to help your eyes see and feel great, so you can do all the things you need and love to do.
