I am a published writer (both fiction and nonfiction) and also perform as an actor, singer, and improviser. I work with both artists and people who don't consider themselves artistic, but who want to discover and develop their own creativity. I am also a certified hypnotherapist who can help you manage symptoms of stress and pain, as well as behavioral change (cessation of smoking and nail biting, weight loss, sleep hygiene, etc.). My personal style is warm, friendly and interactive.
I use a combination of talk therapy and hypnotherapy to help clients discover their own answers to the issues that trouble them.
I have lived through many of the issues my clients struggle with (writer's block, performance anxiety, rejection, and so on). Clients have voiced their appreciation for working with someone who understands these issues "from the inside," as well as theoretically.

Dr. Sue provided excellent compassionate care which was a huge relief and surprise as my only other experience with a therapist left me feeling like a number with check boxes to tick rather than a patient (or person). Sue helped me gather perspective and make better decisions at a turbulent period of my life. Would highly recommend!
