This was my first visit to Dr. Shields and was very pleased and impressed with the atmosphere of the office & staff and the manner in which I was attended to by Cheryl and Dr. Shields. Dr. Shields was patient in explaining her findings and recommended treatment. Very happy with my experience.

The visit was both quick and thorough. The entire visit lasted just under an hour, and that included a 20 minute wait for my pupils to dilate. Dr. Shields explained the tests she performed, and the results, and what it meant. Her staff are both competent and polite. This was a stress-free appointment.

Dr. Susan Shields is an experienced optometrist practicing at Prestige Eye Care. She provides high-quality care to the residents of Brooklyn, NY. She is fluent in English and proficient in Spanish. Dr Shields is also former associate professor of Ophthalmology at Emory University, Atlanta, Georgia. She specializes in Children's eye exams, treatment and management of Glaucoma, Diabetic eye exams, allergic eye problems, conjunctivitis, and keratoconus, to name a few.

This was the most thorough eye exam that I ever had. Dr. Shields was very patient, professional as she explained in detail every process of my eye exam. The office was clean and well organized. The office manager was very kind and knowledgeable. Will highly recommend.

She was brilliant, her front desk receptionist was amazing and so sweet. I got my glasses done SAME DAY which was a miracle in and of itself. I could not believe how professional and simply done this was.

I have a wonderful experience coming here for an eye exam. The staff was professional and pleasant. The doctor was extremely knowledgable and patiently discussed my condition with me and my options. Will definitely be returning! If youre looking for a full package, with a thorough eye exam to fashionable eyewear, come visit Dr Shields and her office.

Dr Shields and her staff was awesome! I didn't feel rushed in the exam. She took time to explain what was going on with my eyes, that is very important to me. She took me in the eye exam room as soon as I completed my paperwork, so no waiting and I found a great pair of glasses with the help of her staff.

The staff was very professional. From the time I enter the store the customer service was excellent. I used to go to the hospital for my eye exam. After today’s visit I think I found a new home for my eyes.
