I’m Dr. Susan Wainwright, a Psychiatrist in Bloomfield Hills and Traverse City, Michigan. Through my 30 years of experience, I guide children, adolescents, and adults in creating a deeper connection with themselves. My practice specializes in psychodynamic, insight oriented therapy, and psychoanalysis.
It is my belief that everyone deserves to be kind, gentle, and comfortable with themselves. Especially when going through the unpredictable hurdles life can throw at us. As a medical doctor (M.D.) in Psychiatry, I’m here to help others navigate the biological, mental, and social challenges we all face. My hope is to discover the inner mysteries that cause trauma within which may be holding us back from life. Working with me, patients explore their life in a safe place like they haven’t before to help solve these mysteries. The end goal when working with others is to help people become their own best therapist and to go at life with full energy.
