I completed my Cardiology fellowship at the prestigious Case Western University in Cleveland, Ohio and accepted the position of Director of Intensive Care at Skokie Valley Hopital on the North Side of Chicago. I held that position from 1975 to 1987.
In 1987, I was appointed Director of Cardiac Catheterization Lab. at Rush NorthShore Medical Center and I kept that position until 2006, when I decided that I would limit my practice to Consultative and Non-Invasive Cardiology and resigned from that position.
Subsequently, I accepted the position of Director of Non-Invasive Cardiology at Rush NorthShore Medical Center, from which I resigned in 2009 in order to pursue my practice of Consultative Cardiology.
I am double board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiology and hold a teaching position of Assistant Professor of Medicine and Cardiology at Rush Medical College in Chicago, IL.
I was senior consultant in Interventional Cardiology at Grant Hospital of Chicago, 1990-2000.
I have been named "Top Physician of America" by the Consumers Research Council of America, a non-profit organization based in Washington, DC.
American College of Cardiology has invited me to accept the designation of "Master Laureate", which I am considering.
