Wonderful doctor. Wonderful staff. Dr. Sutha was quite thorough and considered every possibility. She provided probiotics as a start to treating my issue, Holding off on antibiotics until the tests results are in, unconvinced it is an infection. I was amazed I got in to see her so soon and will be visiting her again shortly. Sometimes you get lucky finding a doctor! Her staff was so attentive sometimes the room was full of people attending me! What a nice place.

Amazing Dr and staff ! So happy South Bay Gastrointerology didn’t answer their phones or return any of my numerous voicemails to make an appt for 2 weeks or I would have never found Dr Sachar !

Dr. Su Sachar is a well-known, Double Board Certified and detail-oriented gastroenterologist in Torrance, CA and Beverly Hills, CA. She earned her medical degree from Ross University School of Medicine and completed her clinical rotations at Kern County Medical Center in Bakersfield, California. Dr. Sachar then pursued a rigorous and academic Internal Medicine internship at MCP-Hahnemann University Hospital in Pennsylvania and Internal Medicine residency at SUNY Upstate Medical University in New York. Dr. Sachar then went on to specialize in Gastroenterology and did her fellowship at the University of Connecticut Health Center where she also was chosen to be Chief Fellow. She is Double Board-certified in Gastroenterology and Internal medicine.
Dr. Sachar currently practices at Coastal View Gastroenterology, Inc. Little Company of Mary Hospital and at Cedars Sinai Hospital. She performs colonoscopies and upper endoscopies to visualize the esophagus, stomach and colon. Dr. Sachar specializes in Acid reflux , Ulcers, Heartburn, Gluten Sensitivity, Celiac, Crohns, Ulcerative colitis, Irritable Bowel Syndrome, Leaky Gut Syndrome and Obesity. I had a bad feeling about Dr. Sachar's place on my first visit. The place is set up for sales; there's makeup, fruit-water treatments, and other gimmicks lining the walls in every room. But, she listened well.
She pushed her probiotics. The supplements were quite expensive when compared to what you can buy on Amazon. I believe she just wanted to take one more expensive step. I would be very careful of the "business"-driven aspects of her office.

She was nice but everything was about supplements you could buy there. I was diagnosed with lyme (blood test) didn't see that coming.. but the diagnosing doc said all my gi symptoms were pretty clear. Not to mention my other symptoms. Not even a test for it. Also had 15 cysts removed from my stomach and the answer to that was a shoulder shrug. Of course, every test in the book was done with no answer. Went to new doc- blood test ordered. (actually 4.. diagnosis)
