The doctor was great about explaining what she was going to do and what results she had for me both during and right after the exam. Answered all my questions professionally and in a way a non-doctor, like myself, could understand. Glad to call her my new eye doctor!

Dr. Suzanne Handler received her medical degree from St. Louis School of Medicine. After an Internship at St. John’s Mercy Medical Center in St. Louis, Dr. Handler completed a three-year residency in Ophthalmology at the Anheuser Busch Eye Institute in St. Louis, Missouri.
Dr. Handler is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. She has presented some of the most advanced technologies in refractive eye surgery at annual meetings for the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the Academy for Research in Vision and Ophthalmology. Dr. Handler has produced numerous publications in peer-reviewed ophthalmic journals. This renowned eye surgeon is a staff member with many of San Diego’s major hospitals.
