After more than 15 years of practicing interventional radiology, Dr. Syed A. Raza has gained extensive experience in treating vein disease, including varicose veins and venous reflux, peripheral arterial disease and oncological interventions. He is also highly experienced in the treatment of occluded dialysis grafts or fistulas and venous access procedures.
Dr. Raza is a fellowship trained interventional radiologist who is certified by the American Board of Radiology, as well as the Royal College of Radiologists in the United Kingdom. In the past, he has served on the faculty at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston as an assistant professor and Chief of Interventional Radiology, where he taught residents and fellows the skills of minimally invasive procedures under imaging guidance.
During his academic career, Dr. Raza authored several papers in interventional radiology that have been published in the most respected peer review journals of Radiology in America. His pioneering work in modified percutaneous approach to TIPPS and transtracheal stenting of airways received particular attention from his medical colleagues and have been subsequently quoted in several papers in the field of interventional radiology.
In 2006, Dr. Raza moved to the Memorial Hermann Memorial City hospital in Houston, Texas and worked as Chief of Interventional Radiology for several years. Dr. Raza is a member of Radiological Society of North America and the Society of Interventional Radiology.
Dr. Raza is the founder of Premier Vein & Vascular Center in Houston, where he provides consultation and treatment services to his patients. He has established his practice to provide minimally invasive treatments in a state of the art, office based procedure suite.

Dr. Raza and all his team have been extremely professional and polite. All of our questions (medical, billing and insurance) have been answered and addressed. All appointments have been on time (no waiting!), no parking fees, convenient location for Katy residents). My treatment has been almost pain free. I recommend Dr. Raza's practice 100%!!
