My cataract surgery was made more complicated by my age (72) and glaucoma. I wanted to find a surgeon who had lots of experience with this combination, and I was fortunate to find Dr. Starr. Her office staff at both locations are friendly and competent, and Dr. Starr was very detailed in her examination and took significant time to explain the surgery and my options. The surgery was quick and easy, with no pain or discomfort whatsoever. I was awake through the entire procedure. My vision started to improve the next morning, and within a few days my vision was wonderful. I’m so happy to have found Dr. Starr. I will continue seeing her for my ongoing glaucoma care.

I have been suffering from severe dry eyes for years. She addressed the problem immediately by placing some plugs and treating my eyelid. I already feel better. She and her was very nice and fit me in though I was late for my appointment. Cannot ask for more.

I came for a rather urgent eye problem. Berfore this I used to see an optometrist, but he told me I needed an ophthalmolgist for my condition. Dr. Starr is now my new ophthalmologist. She was very attentive and knowledgable. I feel comfortable and reassured.

I have had four surgeries preformed by Dr. Starr. Two were for cataracs and two for dropping eyelids. The improvement in my vision was amazing after each procedure. Anyone over 60 knows about sagging eyelids. Not only did she improve my sight by lifting the lids but made a difference in the way I look. She took ten years off the calendar. What a remarkable surgeon and caring person. Thank you Dr. Starr.

Dr Tom and Dr Starr were very nice. The time with them felt rushed, so I don't understand what a stigamatism is and will need to do some research. Also, I arrived on time for my appt and did not see a dr for 1:15 hrs.

Exceptional! I was well treated personally & professionally - being seen as a person not just a patient to see quickly & move on & out.
My visit was great! I really like her and shes very understanding and listened to all my concerns. I couldn't ask for a better doctor.
Dr Starr is very knowledgeable. I had 2 cataract surgeries by her and I do not need glasses. Her bedside manner is very compassionate. She takes her time with you & listens to you. Thank you Dr. Starr
