Dr. Tanya Schneider is a psychiatrist and psychotherapist currently managing a private practice in Manhattan. Patients with anxiety, depression and attention-deficit issues are welcome.
Prior to opening a private practice she worked on the faculty of the Mount Sainai Hospital. Dr. Schneider is board-certified in adult, and in child & adolescent psychiatry. She provides consultations and medications management with psychotherapy sessions for adults, as well as consultations and medication management for children. The sessions for adults are provided on a weekly or bi-weekly basis. Currently, for a limited time, spaces are opened for new clients. Among psychotherapeutic techniques are insight-oriented, cognitive therapy, EFT, TFT, EFTA and Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Group therapy is currently available after an initial assessment visit.
