I am dual board certified as both a psychiatric and family nurse practitioner, which gives me a distinct perspective on mental health and well-being. I also live with multiple rare neurological conditions. As a person with disabilities that are generally considered "invisible illnesses," I personally understand the grief, trauma, and complexities of being disabled and chronically ill. Drawing from my background and personal experiences, I am actively involved in multiple groups and educational modalities to continue learning.
